Unveiling of statue of Peter S. Brandal

The Ishavsmuseet honors the sealing pioneer and industrialist Peter S. Brandal by erecting a statue of him at the museum. Unveiling of statue Saturday, September 3rd at 3:00 PM.

Svein Harberg, chairman of the Storting's Family and Culture Committee, will lead the grand unveiling. The program also includes the Ulstein Male Choir, Hjørungavåg Brass and Mayor Anders Riise. The museum will serve seal meat stew and bacalao on both Saturday and Sunday between 13-18 p.m.
