Author Alexander Wisting gives a lecture about polar explorer and captain Otto Sverdrup.
Alexander Wisting is a writer, director and filmmaker. He has made series and documentaries for TV and cinema in Norway and internationally. He is the great-grandson of Oscar Wisting, who, together with Roald Amundsen, was the first to reach both the South Pole and the North Pole. Wisting has previously written biographies of both Roald Amundsen and Hjalmar Johansen.
After the lecture, dinner with clipfish and delicious side dishes will be served in the museum's café.
