Tuesday, March 21. The film "Ishavsblod" and a sailing party.

Sjøborg Cinema shows the film "Ishavsblod" on Tuesday, March 21st at 6:00 PM. Seal hunter Espen Brandal from Brandal is a fifth-generation seal hunter and has one of the main roles in the action documentary "Ishavsblod". The filmmakers, "Koko-damene", say that this is a real Arctic, ocean-going road movie about tough women and men who brave the waves, cold and loneliness on the Arctic Ocean. The filmmakers have chosen three main characters that they follow especially throughout the film: Espen Brandal, veteran Bjørne Kvernmo and a real bad boy from Oslo.

Sailboat party. After the film at Sjøborg there will be a sailing party at the Ishavsmuseet at 8:00 PM. The filmmakers and seal hunter Espen Brandal will take part. The menu includes a two-course dinner with fish soup and "Tornedå" of seal steak wrapped in bacon with oven-baked vegetables with thyme, flute potatoes and the steward's pepper sauce. Knut Selvåg will entertain with the Arctic Ocean's instrument, the accordion, until the evening is over.
