Church service from the deck of Aarvak

On Sunday, July 3, the Ishavsmuseet and Hareid parish invite you to a church service at Aarvak.

If we look away from the sermon that Bishop Norderval gave over ship radio in Vesterisen in 1952 after the great accident, this is probably the first time an Arctic ship has been the scene of such an event, and we are looking forward to this Sunday. The attending priest is Jens Terje Johnsen. Paul Sandanger led the song. After the service there will be an opportunity to buy dinner, coffee and cakes in the museum. Welcome!
