Arctic evening October 19

True to tradition, there will be an Arctic Ocean evening in connection with the Hareidsstemna again this year. On Wednesday, October 19th, a new cozy Arctic Ocean evening in the familiar style will be held.

This year we have a great program team. Vegard Brandal will give a lecture and show a film from his crossing of the Greenland Ice Sheet earlier this year, from west to east, via a route that is slightly north of the route that Nansen used in 1888. The program will also feature beautiful singing by Silje Brandal and poetry readings by Alv Ottar Folkestad. In the usual style, there will be a chat break with good cakes and strong coffee in true Arctic style. We will start at 7:00 p.m. Ticket NOK 150,- including coffee and cakes.
