Polarstar 70 years!! Friday 31 August at 19.00

The Arctic ship Polarstar turns 70, and the anniversary is celebrated at the Ishavsmuseet during Brandalsdagane 2018.

POLARSTAR 70TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION August 31st to September 2nd

Friday, August 31 at 7:00 p.m.

The Grand Old Lady of the Arctic Ocean turns 70. Lecture on the anniversary by Gunnar Myklebust. Helsingstalar.

Also participating in the program are Tage Pettersen, member of the Family and Culture Committee at the Storting, Svein Harberg, the Storting's delegation for Arctic parliamentary cooperation, Parliamentary Deputy Leader of the Conservative Party and former leader of the Family and Culture Committee, as well as Mayor Anders Riise, Martin Karlsen and Willy Nesset.

After the program, a 2-course dinner will be served:

Creamy cauliflower soup with crispy bacon and homemade focaccia bread

Entrecôte with oven-baked almond potatoes, roasted vegetables and pepper sauce
