In Roald Amundsen's footsteps

On June 17, 2003, Knut Espen Solberg and Camilla Grønneberg set sail from Oslo in the sailboat JOTUN Arctic, heading for the Northwest Passage. The goal was to recreate Amundsen's voyage through the harsh sea and ice areas 100 years later. However, difficult ice conditions caused the boat, with Camilla and Knut Espen on board, to freeze in the ice. They spent two years outside various Inuit settlements, where they came into contact with the last remnants of the culture Roald Amundsen experienced in Gjøahavn.
