Ragnar Thorseth (born February 17, 1948) is a Norwegian adventurer and author from Herøy in Sunnmøre.

Ragnar Thorseth became known as an adventurer after several daring trips in smaller boats. In 1969, he was the first man to row alone from Måløy to Lerwick in Shetland. In the next decade, he traveled around the Arctic Ocean, across the Atlantic Ocean and through the Northwest Passage. In 1982, he participated in a snowmobile expedition across the ice to the North Pole, which was reached on April 29. In the period 1984—1986, Thorseth sailed around the world with the "Saga Siglar". In the late 1980s, he and his family spent a winter in the icy wilderness of Kongsfjorden in Svalbard.

In 1989, he and his wife Kari started Håholmen Havstuer on Håholmen in Averøy.

Ragnar Thorseth has published books with text and images from all the largest expeditions.
