Catalogue of the Arctic ships

On the Ishavsmuseet website you will now find a link called ship catalog.

Here you will find most of the ships that have participated in seal hunting, and some other ships that have participated in polar expeditions.

The catalogue is by no means complete, there will be constant updates and new information will be added over time. More ships will also be added. We have nevertheless chosen to publish what is now ready. Many of the ships are still missing photos. This will come, but the Ishavsmuseet is also missing photos of many of the ships in the archive. We would therefore greatly appreciate it if you would have photos of any of the missing ships that you would like to share with us.

The catalog is searchable, so it's easy to find the ships you're looking for.
