| Additional information | 1890: Skipper Andreas Jacobsen on the Alken fell into the hold and died. 1907: While taking in sail, two men were standing in the bow of the Alken when a large sea hit the ship. One of them, Hans Andersen from Balsfjord, was thrown overboard and was gone before they could get a fishing boat out. |
